Eagle House is a busy place where it can be easy to be swept along with the plethora of lessons and activities on offer. We feel it is therefore important that once a term the children and staff stop and look outwardly at what is going on in the world around them or inwardly at how we ourselves can do things better. ‘Make-A-Difference’ weeks focus on important issues that affect our lives and lives of others, in the hope that we can make change for the good.
Each term the topic varies but our aim is to understand the world around us, learn something more in depth and usually collect some money for a charity linked to the topic. We kick off the week with a Whole School Assembly in order to introduce the topic, staff then bring the theme into their teaching for the week or run one-off activities.
