Eagle House Golf has had great success over the last two years.

Children get the opportunity to play golf as part of the activity programme and matches are arranged between local schools. Golfers are also entered for national tournaments.

Sessions takes place at Wellington College’s golf course where they receive coaching from David Rennie, who is the ‘Golf Pro’ based up here. Once the children are proficient enough they are given the opportunity to play the course.

The course is a challenging 9 holes; made up of 2 par 5's, 4 par 4's and 3 par 3's. The course is a classic Surrey heathland course which has been designed by Donald Steel and Martin Ebert and it is considered to be one of the best school courses in the country. In addition to the course itself there are driving nets, a pitching area and a putting green. In the spring and summer months there is also a grass range available.

Both parents and children of Eagle House are regularly invited to participate in tournaments that are run by Wellington College, either for the parents alone, or for the children to play against other Prep School pupils.

Golf is one of the most popular activities organised by the staff and in most terms there are between 35 – 40 children who regularly play.
