Make A Difference Day 2017 saw everyone from Nursery to Year 8 join together for a day exploring the past and the future. The school was a hub of creativity with everyone working in groups comprising all ages of Eagle House pupils.
After an opening assembly on the Future, where a presentation and song (recorded by EH kids) were shown, the day began. Archaeology, Virtual Reality, Tudor House workshops, Roman Feasts, Olympic Games, Storytelling, Prehistoric Digs, Environmental issues, Bush Cooking, Futuristic Face Painting, a Victorian classroom and Genealogy to mention a few were all in action for the children to take part in.
The school was a buzz with ideas and excitement and the day proved to be a huge success. It was also a non-uniform day, with children donating a pound in support of robbiesrally charity.
Make A Difference Day is a firm fixture in the calendar and every year it makes a huge difference to the learning and experience of our pupils.
